The Highly publicised dad’s burial of the Lagos big boy who is the CEO of En-George Oil and Gas might have come and gone but the memories of the superlative final burial rite for the late septuagenarian forever remain.

The burial ceremony which we gathered took the village of the deceased by storm was well attended by friends and associates of the very eloquent and friendly man about town who operates one of the most finest gentleman’s striptease bars, Cazzbah Niteclub in Ikeja axis, Austine Eneduwa-George. If dead people were made to witness their burial, Austine’s dad would have probably thumbed up his industrious son for the outstanding performance during the burial but it’s appointed unto a man to die but once….

The corpse, we learnt, left Lagos State for Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State, the final resting place of the double chieftaincy titles carrier in Delta state, on 12th December amidst tears and joy, and what followed thereafter was inexplicable.

While five live band musicians took the centre stage, a lot of sons and daughters of the soil never believed their eyes for the very eventful occasion which was embellished with the presence of Nollywood stars like Osita Iheme, Chinedu Ikhedieze of the Aki and Pawpaw fame. Other notable dignitaries who added paraphernalia to the colourful and glamorous occasion are, Bayo Adeoye and friends from abroad to mention but just a few.

Interestingly, some royal fathers of the town who witnessed the epoch-making and befitting burial Austine gave to his late dad, we exclusively gathered, are making effort to honour the silent achiever, Austine with a chieftaincy title. Will he honour this? Only Autine himself can tell.
