The Chief Financial Officer of MTN Group, Mr Brett Goschen has resigned.

The statement released by MTN on Monday has it that he will finally leave in three months time towards the end of September “to pursue other interests”.
Goechen who has been with group of various capacities for the past 14years assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer in MTN since August 2013.

He will be replaced with Gunter Engling who will be acting until a permanent replacement is found.

Engling is a chartered accountant who is currently CEO of MTN Rwanda.

He has held many positions in MTN, including group executive for finance reporting to the group Chief Financial Officer. Engling has also held the positions of General Manager of finance at MTN Nigeria and Chief Financial Officer at MTN Ghana.
