Veteran actress, Esther Idowu Philips, popularly known as Iya Rainbow, has jetted out of Nigeria.

She left the shores of this country yesterday night for London, where she is expected to spend some weeks before returning home.

During her stay in London, https://www.nigeriafilms.com gathered that the highly respected thespian will promote the Yotomi Housing Scheme initiated by the late movie mogul, Alade Aromire, and also embark on some movie projects with her son, Femi, who has been in London for over a year now.

Speaking with https://www.nigeriafilms.com from London recently, Femi, who has produced films like Odun Mbaku, Alapatira, Elepo Roobi and Eye N’korin among others said his mission in London is to acquire more skills in film making and marketing.

“I’ve been going through intensive training here to upgrade my skills. Technically, the Nigerian movie industry is still lagging behind, but my aim is to raise the bar when I come back.

“Besides, the marketing strategies of our films are very poor, and that is actually part of what I’m studying at the moment,” he noted.
