Yesterday, Sunday, May 24, 2015, will remain memorable for President Goodluck Jonathan and his wife, Patience, as it was their last Sunday as President and First Lady of Nigeria respectively.

A thanksgiving and inauguration church service was held at the National Christian Centre, Abuja to seal off their days as the number one family of Nigeria and usher in the new administration.

In attendance were the President, his wife, Vice President-elect (Professor Yemi Osinbajo), his wife and many others.

The two families shook hands and hugged each other during the occasion.

Later this week, precisely on Friday, May 29, the President-elect, Muhammadu Buhari would be sworn-in alongside Osinbajo.
