Renowned movie director, Kemi Adetiba, has warned scriptwriters against sending unsolicited scripts or ideas to her without having some level of legal protection.

The director took to Twitter to plead with creative guys to desist from making either themselves or her vulnerable to litigation.

This comes on the back of Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli legal battle over her new movie, ‘Okafor’s Law’.

Hemi wrote, “Hey guys.. I appreciate the ❤️but PLS stop sending me unsolicited scripts or film ideas. I delete as soon as I see title. It exposes us both.

“I thoroughly understand the drive and hunger to break out, but you really shouldn’t send out finished scripts or film ideas without some written legal protection anyway. I appreciate it, but I delete as soon as I see the words ‘…this great idea/script.’ I have a first degree in law.. I ain’t playing with y’all,” she added.
