Delta state-born Project Fame Season 9 winner, Miss Okiemute Ighorodje, on Sunday, October 16, 2016, went to church with her family to thank God for her victory after the 8-week highly competitive contest.

Few weeks ago, 25-year-old Okiemute Ighorodje, was on Sunday, September 25, crowned the winner of MTN Project Fame West Africa Season 9 as she smiled home with a grand price of N5 million, a brand new SUV, and a multi-million music recording contract.

The Delta state-born Linguistics & Communications graduate from University of Port Harcourt, on Sunday, October 16, 2016, went to church with her family to celebrate her epic victory.

At the St. Brigid’s Catholic Church, Asaba, where Miss Okiemute, accompanied by parents, relations, friends and well-wishers went to thank God for the victory, Rev. Fr. Dibia said Christians should remain in the ways of God by seeking the face of God through prayers.

Addressing the congregation, Miss Okiemute admonished youths in particular to always think positive, believe in themselves in whatever they do because their efforts would be crowned with success.

Mrs Lovette Adibeli Ighorodje, mother to Miss Okiemute, said her daughter would always be encouraged to be herself and never feel on top of the world.
