Nollywood actress, Lizzy Anjorin, has been very busy lately with her latest movie ‘Owo Naira Bet’ and despite her busy schedule, she took out time to speak and motivate the students of the Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, recently.

 Aside just speaking with the student, the actress was given a special recognition award for her selfless service to the growth of the movie industry in Nigeria.

The actress, while recalling her journey so far in life explained that everyone wishes to be like her but they don’t know that it is impossible because she was the only child and was being neglected by her father who asked her to go and hawk fish on the road.

She disclosed that seeing the challenges before her, she had to start hawking with her mother at age 4 and had to push her way beyond boundaries to attain the level she is today and she has not stopped hawking despite her status.

“Everybody is saying they want to be like Lizzy Anjorin, you can’t be like me because I was the only child. My mother had me in her menopause (iya Arugbo ni mama mi) and when she was grooming me and that made me push myself because I was being neglected by my father and being the only child he believes that since I’m not a male, I should go and sell fish. So I started hawking at the age of 4 with my mum and I’m still hawking till tomorrow despite the fact that I’m a celebrity,” she her personality known during TVC’s early morning breakfast programme, ‘Your Views’ which was being monitored by Nigeriafilms.com
