Nollywood actress, Omoni Oboli, might be very playful at times but when it comes to her job, she does not joke with it one bit and this she has proven after she explained that her just concluded movie ‘Okafor’s Law’ took her three weeks.

The actress stated that what makes her proud is that within three weeks of shooting the movie, it has already gotten its first cut but this did not go down well with a fan who asked her what kind of movie it was.

While sharing the good news, she wrote, “We started with a prayer and God has been more than AWESOME! I can’t begin to tell you how grueling it has been for over three weeks. There were times I was overwhelmed but I LOVE my job and that kept me going! I think we might have broken a record. We finished shoot this morning and we already have the 1st cut of the full film ready! I had my editors working overtime. We did have three days of no shoot in between and that helped. Thanks for your love, prayers and encouragement throughout the journey. I love you all to bits! Okafor’s Law loading.”

But here is the fan question that got the actress angry, “What kind of movie do you make in 3weeks.laughs, Nollywood is a serious joke. No offense just saying.” Omoni will never keep her cool especially when her fellow Nigerian tries to dent the image of the industry that has tried to create employment for others as she immediately served it hot.

The actress stressed that Nollywood has come a long way and has provided jobs for many Nigerians and should not be taken for granted adding that her movie alone provided salaries for over 250 members.

In her words, “non taken darling, it’s just that you are kind of showing some ignorance. 3 weeks is for principal photography alone. I’ve been in pre production for this movie for over a year and post production is still going to take some time. Filmmakers all over the world shoot in a couple of weeks as well. Nollywood is NOT a joke! It’s an industry that employs millions of Nigerians! At least over 250 Nigerians got paid on this project alone so put some ‘respek’ on my business! Bless.”
