The issue of gender equality is rubbing off on our cultural believes, and one could boldly say, civilization has also rubbed off on our traditions.

A woman is really no man’s slave but a help mate, but all in the name of civilization some women has neglected their womanly duty to the men.

Well, the reason is not far-fetched as some women are as well picking up the sole duty of a man in their matrimonial homes, so one would hardly blame them though.

But in all sincerity, it’s the duty of a woman to prepare meals while it’s the duty for the man to provide the meal.

The internet is still agog over pastor Adeboye’s comment and lots of people have been speaking up about the issue.

Popular Nollywood actress, Omotola Jalade has recently joined in the trending conversation as she dishes out her mind.

She made it known that although there’s No Hard Rule 2 how a family Must Operate but she still believes in the fact that making meals is a woman’s duty.

In her words: “I believe preparing meals for and feeding a family is a woman’s natural duty. Providing the food is the man’s.”

Remember some time ago, Omotola Jalade was also in the mews when she disclosed in an interview that her husband goes to the market to buy food stuffs due to her status in the society.

However, the actress who might have mislead some women in the past with that statement, is clearly telling them that it’s a woman’s duty to cook.
