Ghanaian singer Ebony Reigns has given up the ghost after she was involved in a fatal auto-crash.

The actress who was in a jeep with registration number AS 497—16 was traveling from Sunyani to Kumasi with two military personnel, the car collided with a VIP bus which led to her demise.

The dancehall singer was born as Priscilla Opoku-Kwarteng and known for her hit songs “Poison” and “Kupe”, her death comes just one week to her birthday as she would have turned 21 on February 16. The song became a hit and she was rewarded with a nomination in the unsung category at the 2016 Ghana music awards. Ebony released her major hit song “Kupe” on March of 2016 which has become an anthem in Ghana and popular in some other African countries.

Dsp Adusei confirmed the occurrence and has told joy news that the bodies have been deposited at Mankraso Hospital Morgue in the Ashanti Region.

A Journalist who said that the current state of the road is very bad and it was the sole reason for the accident, he further explained that the driver had tried to divert from a heap of sand left on the road for amendment before running into the VIP bus.

The driver is the only survivor but unconscious as the two military men and Reigns have lost their lives.
