Nollywood actress Tonto Dikeh has refused to celebrate popular cross-dresser Bobrisky on the latter’s birthday.

Bobrisky celebrated his 30th birthday on Tuesday as he shared stunning photos of himself in an Instagram post.

Tonto who made an Instagram post in the early hours of Tuesday, has not publicly wished Bobrisky a happy birthday.

In 2020, the duo made headlines over an alleged misunderstanding that ruined their friendship. Bobrisky made several threats to Tonto.

The last time they were seen in public together was during their Dubai getaway in November 2019.

Tonto Charity Dikeh (born 9 June 1985) is a Nigerian actress, singer, songwriter and humanitarian. On 27 August 2000, Tonto Dikeh set up her foundation, the Tonto Dikeh Foundation. The Foundation was established with clear vision and passion of making life better for all displaced and under privilege women, girls, youth, and children in Africa, in-respective of their Politically, Religious and Cultural differences.

It also aims at organizing regular sensitization programs and symposium discussion that will bring sanity and civility to the black race; by taking issues that affect women, gender issues, rape, empowerment, climate change and child right.

Tonto Dikeh was featured in a movie titled Dirty Secret, which generated controversy among Nigerians due to its inclusion of adult scenes. While some people criticized her role for being nontraditional and un-African, others stated that Dikeh was merely being professional.

Bobrisky is a Nigerian internet personality who is known as a trans woman in Nigeria, a country with no LGBT rights. She is also known for her presence on the social media app Snapchat.

Born Okuneye Idris Olarenwaju in 1992, Bobrisky completed her secondary school education at King’s College, Lagos. She also attended and graduated from the University of Lagos (UNILAG).

In May 2019, Bobrisky confirmed that her pronouns are “she” and “her” after receiving several misgendered comments on her Instagram profile.

She became recognized by being highly controversial on social media for not adhering to ultra conservative Nigerian standards. Bobrisky was able to gather traffic to her Snapchat account, when she claimed she had a lover who is assumed to be of masculine gender despite the law in Nigeria stating that same sex relationships is an offence punishable by serving 14 years in a penitentiary. On July 8th, 2021, she revealed her new body after undergoing surgery to become more feminine.
