A man(name withheld ) has been apprehended by the Indonesian police for allegedly selling a bootleg liquor that claimed the lives of twelve men while four others were hospitalized in Bantul district in the main island of Java, Indonesia.

 

According to the local police spokeswoman Anny Pudjiastuti, the suspect was arrested in Bantul,while 81 bottles of the liquor was seized.

“The suspect could be charged with causing death and could be jailed for 15 to 20 years,” said Pudjiastuti.

The police are still investigating to know the content of the drink .It would be recalled that in February 26 people in Sleman district very close to Bantul had died after consuming locally-bought homebrew.
