Cobhams Asuquo is all smiles after he got a music deal with Wyclef Jean that will feature Asa. Cobhams and Sound Sultan who are currently in America for the One Africa Music Festival that will be held this weekend in New York, visited Wyclef in his studio.

Wyclef had announced their presence to the world “My people just landed from Nigeria Cobhams and Sound Sultan 2 of the greatest musicians,” he asked Cobhams “You have a song for us? ” 

Cobhams responded “ Yes. I’ve been writing the song for years. I’ve been looking for when you both will jump on it, ” Wyclef accepted the offer “ I’ll jump on it. ” Cobhams shared the good news “ In the presence of greatness @wyclefjean Be careful what you dream about. Dreams really come true. I had dreamt of meeting him, created music inspired by him, even written music 10 years ago hoping that someday himself and @asa_music perform it. Now I’m in the studio learning from him .”
