This is not the first time this issue has been talked about. The issue of singing only about bum bum and waist of women. This time, in a chat with HipTv, Onyeka Owenu has bared her mind and how she feels about the women that are featured in songs like that.

Onyeka is a Nigerian singer, a Nollywood actress, politician, journalist and a songwriter. She does not find most Nigerian songs appealing as they convey nothing but sexuality.

She said that the roles played by women in these songs are distasteful and she feels sad about them, she feels sad for the women that play these roles. But she has one consolation.

She consoles herself with the fact that the young shall grow. According to her, at that point, these young artists would start seeing life differently and then would they know that the talent they have are meant for greater things.

The actress who is in her late sixties stays on low cut and gracefully rocks her gray hair which shows how wise she is as she spoke on this issue with great wisdom. We hope that these young artists would realise that their talents are actually meant for greater things.
