Nigerian iconic Rapper Vector tha Viper has applauded Nigerian actors over their acting skills and prowess. In a live show on TVC monitored by Nigeriafilms.com, the singer who ventured into acting featured in his first movie titled June.
Vector said that he cannot rate himself on acting as he is yet to be a professional but ‘kudos to all the actors and actress in Nollywood’
Speaking on how it feels to act he says it feels so good but acting is very dark compared to his passion which is writing and rapping. The rapper applauded Nigerian actor’s stating that to write music is crazy but acting is more crazy and dark.
Vector Tha Viper gave an instance on when he was asked to cry in a the movie and he is like how will that work, but the time he was told to think about the saddest event in his life, and he kept quiet and tried to think then he remembered the death of his father which made him cry so hard even when he was told to stop he couldn’t.
Vector will be featuring alongside fellow artiste Sheyi Shay in a new movie titled ‘Lara and the beat’.
Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known by his stage name Vector tha Viper, is a Nigerian Hip hop artist. Vector was born in Ogun State, the fourth of five children. He schooled in Nigeria attending Command children school, Ijebu Ode Grammar School, Government College Victoria Island & Saint Gregory’s College. He started his journey into hip hop in junior high in 1994. In St. Gregory’s College, he was involved in various social activities in which he was made to perform from the stage. In 1999, he formed a duo called Badder Boiz, who wrote their own songs and in the same year went on to start performing at showcases as a trio.
