Lagos State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fatai Owoseni has rescued a lady alleged to have stolen Plantain at Agbowa Market in Ikorodu, Lagos State.
The lady was arrested and kept in police custody with her child by police officers attached to the Agbowa Police Station and the Commissioner during an unscheduled visit to the Station today ordered the release of a lady and her baby. Read and see more photos after cut….
The lady on interrogation by the CP explained that she was pushed into stealing the plaintain by hunger.
The CP on hearing this gave the lady N10,000 and warned her never to repeat the act again.
The CP also inspected the Itoikin bridge that has been reported to be access route for kidnappers terrorising the area and visited the traditional ruler of the community.
