Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Chinenye Ochuba and her husband of four years, Kunle Akinlade, have lost their home located at Somolu close, Alakuko, Ijaiye in Lagos.
The house was built six years ago by Mr Akinlade but unfortunately the land he built the house on wasn’t his, at least that was the court verdict when the owners of the land took Mr Akinlade to court.
A Lagos high court which had been presiding over the matter for a while now, issued an order in October asking the Akinlades to vacate the house.
Mr Akinlade unfortunately bought the land from fraudsters, and when the real owners showed up, they refused any compensations, insisting on getting their land back. They went to court and won.
And since you can’t uproot a building from a land, Chinenye and her husband lost their home. They have since moved out of the house.

I hope this type of judgment would spread across the board as deterrent lesson of their reckless `power from the above` immunity.

Is it not high time for Nigeria to have a centralized system to check ownership of land or property ? That's the country if someone say good morning : you need to check outside if it's really morning.
Shame to the Judge who think is right for someone that owns the land to keep the house without compensating the one that built a house. He bulit the house in 2007 and 5yrs later: he lose it. Why did it take them that long to claim the land, they're waiting for their victim to finish building,The Judge need to ask the question before passing judgment.
Real lesson for Nigerians abroad... watch out else you would lose everything you laboured for.
