There is a popular saying that 'beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder,' and as such, you can't tell who might be watching you. British based Gambian actress, Marie Kumba, has disclosed that her coming to Nigeria is to make a difference in the Nollywood industry but will not hesitate to marry a Nigerian man if the proposal comes up. According to her, she likes Nigerian men but would prefer not to describe her choice of man so that he will not pretend to be whom he is not. "I prefer men to be themselves. If I state what I am looking for, the guys might try to mold themselves in to what I am looking for." Marie did not fail to spare her admiration for Nollywood actor and Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Delta state, Richard Mofe Damijo, whom she says she has crush on. The actress stated that though the actor is married, but she still has a crush on him because of the way he interprets his scripts. "I think he is versatile and very creative. The truth is that I have a crush on him. Any way, he is a married man but I admire him a great deal; he’s every woman’s dream." According to the actress, Nollywood was her stepping stone and the man that helped her grow as an actress is from Nigeria. "I want to share my talent with the amazing talents in the industry. I want to bring Gambian flavor and blend it with Nollywood and hopefully, learn enough to take back to my country, The Gambia, where there are so many talents waiting eagerly to be discovered." © 2014 Nigeriafilms.com Click the link below to go to...
