Phyno is always mostly categorized to command same influence as Olamide which specializes in making music in their mother’s tongue. Olamide is considered to be the king of the west while Phyno represents the eastern part of Nigeria and he is crowned king of the east.

The rapper took to his instagram page to announce the exciting news to his fans, sharing the photo of himself posing behind the newly acquired car, he captioned it thus;

“U can’t loose wat u ain’t choose.” He wrote.

He started his musical career as a producer in 2003. His debut studio album, No Guts No Glory, was released in 2014. It produced the singles "Ghost Mode", "Man of the Year", "Parcel" and "O Set". As a producer, he has worked with artists such as Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J. Martins and Mr Raw.
