Five Star is owned by brothers Kingsley Okonkwo (Kcee) and Emeka Okonkwo (E-Money). Harrysong left the record label under controversial circumstances in 2017, going on to set up his own outfit, Altar Plate.

The ‘Arabanko’ singer said he’s been making money, playing shows and doing well since he made the decision to walk out of Five Star, as it is not like people had thought that his career was heading for doom.

In his words;

He said: “It’s been amazing since I left Five Star. We’ve been doing great work. We’ve been making money, playing shows.”

Harrysong made history at his last Kingmaker Concept which was held at the Delta state Stadium as he was the first artiste to sell out the whole stadium in one show.
