The Jason Njoku owned online media distribution company for Nigeria entertainment ‘IROKING’ has been in high scrutiny with powerful and music queen Onyeka Onwenu who has taken the music company to court over copyright violation.
It was earlier reported by the songwriter that Iroking was illegally making profits from the sales of her song, even as she is not contracted to the media group but Iroking was fast to deny this.
Iroking had tried to settle this rift the first time she made this allegation on them, but the Nigerian musical legend has said they never showed up or honor the invitation to iron out this issue with her.
In a statement released by Onyeka on Sunday over copyright violation she stated that Iroking as a company is arrogant and do not have respect nor regards toward artiste that have made them successful through their hard work, commitment and labor.
The veteran singer previously had a contract with the media company for a period of two year but never resigned the contract when ended. She wants to end copyright violation not only for herself but also to other artiste that are also victims of this incidenct.
