Yesterday, Nigerian media personality, Noble Igwe was one of the millions of Nigerians that lamented after Ponzi scheme froze all verified accounts and told participants it would not be active again till January.

The media personality has now taken to his blog to explain why he joined in the scheme despite warnings from the federal government that Nigerians shouldn’t take part.

According to him, he was convinced by his barber who told him he had gotten alerts from the scheme. He also said he didn’t want to lose out on a chance to make some cool cash to get himself a Range Rover as well as buy bottle of champagnes to use as water for his wife when they are at the club.

Not only that, he was tempted with the idea of being able to go to his village with a policeman and being able to contribute towards his church’s new building project.
